Before you start
Please wash your hands and rinse all fresh fruits and vegetables prior to cooking.
Instructions
1 Boil pasta
Bring a large pot of water to a boil and cook pasta for 3 minutes.
2 Add broccoli
Separate broccoli to florets. Add broccoli to the pasta and boil for 5 more minutes. Drain and keep aside.
3 Prep and fry
Peel and chop onion and garlic. Halve cherry tomatoes. Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat and fry onion for 3-4 minutes. Add garlic and cherry tomatoes. Continue cooking for 3-4 minutes.
4 Fry beef and combine
Add beefmince to the pan and fry until nicely browned. Add Worcestershire sauce and tomato paste, stir for 2 more minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Pour the meat mix into the pot with the drained pasta and broccoli.
5 Make cheese sauce
Heat butter in a pan and add flour. Mix well. Slowly pour the milk in, whisking constantly. Bring to a boil and simmer lightly so that the sauce thickens a bit. Add grated cheddar cheese and cream cheese. Mix until smooth.
6 Combine and serve
Pour the cheese sauce in the pasta pot. Mix well. Serve with fresh basil leaves.
