Before you start
Please wash your hands and rinse all fresh fruits and vegetables prior to cooking.
Instructions
1 Prep
Add the chickencubes to a large bowl, cutting bigger pieces in half.
Soak the bambooskewers.
2 Spice chicken
To the chicken, add the paprikapowder, 0.5 sachet garliconionpowder, salt and pepper.
Mix to coat the chicken.
Divide the chicken between the skewers.
Set aside until step 4.
3 Make Slaw
Thinly shred the cabbage.
Peel and thinly slice or grate the carrot.
De-seed and thinly slice the redpepper.
Pick the coriander leaves.
In a large bowl, combine the cabbage, carrot, redpepper and coriander, reserving some for garnish.
Add the soysauce, ricevinegar, sesameoil.
Toss to combine.
Set the Asian Slaw aside.
Tip!Drain off some of the dressing before serving to avoid a soggy salad.
4 Make Bang Bang sauce
Cut the lime in half.
In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, sweetchillisauce, Srirachasauce, honey and a squeeze of lime juice to taste.
Set the Bang Bangsauce aside.
5 Fry chicken
Heat a large frying pan over medium-high heat with a drizzle of oil.
Fry the chickenskewers for 3-4 min on each side, turning often.
Baste with the Bang Bangsauce, reserving some for serving.
Cook for 2-3 min further until the chicken is nicely browned and cooked through.
6 Serve
Serve the Bang BangChickenSkewers alongside the Asian Slaw.
Top with crushed peanuts and reserved coriander.
Serve left over Bang Bangsauce for dipping.
