Before you start
Please wash your hands and rinse all fresh fruits and vegetables prior to cooking.
Instructions
1 Bake fries
Preheat the oven to 200°C/180°C fan.
Slice the potatoes (skins on) into fries.
Add the fries to a lined baking tray.
Drizzle with vegetable oil and a generous pinch of salt.
Toss the fries in the oil until they are fully coated.
Bake for 30 min or until golden and crisp.
2 Prep slaw
Meanwhile, in a large bowl, whisk the vinegar, honey and mayonnaise.
Slice the cabbage as finely as possible.
Peel and grate the carrot.
Trim and finely chop the springonions.
Add the lot to the bowl and toss in the mayonnaise dressing.
Season generously with salt and a crack of blackpepper.
Refrigerate until step 6.
Tip!Make the slaw up to 12 hours in advance.
3 Prep onion
Peel and finely chop the onion.
4 Simmer chicken
Heat a large pot over a medium-high heat with a drizzle of oil.
Once hot, add the onion with a pinch of salt.
Fry for 5 min or until softened.
Add the barbecuesauce, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, measured water, garliconionpowder, smokedpaprika, salt, blackpepper and the pulledchicken.
Simmer for 5 min or until the sauce begins to thicken.
5 Toast buns
Once the fries have baked for 30 min, add the burgerbuns to the tray.
Bake for 5 min further or until the buns are warmed through.
6 Serve
Load the warmed burgerbuns with chicken and top with coleslaw.
Serve the BarbecuePulled ChickenBurger with Fries and and remaining Crunchy Coleslaw alongside.
