Before you start
Please wash your hands and rinse all fresh fruits and vegetables prior to cooking.
Instructions
1 Heat chicken
Heat a pan over a medium heat, add the barbecuesauce and tomatopaste.
Mix to combine.
Add the pulledchicken and a splash of water and mix well.
Cook for 2-4 min until the chicken is warmed through.
2 Prep
Wash the grapes and if preparing for young children cut the grapes into quarters.
Tip!To ensure the fruit & veg is as fresh as possible chop on the day. If not possible chop, dampen a paper towel & cover and place in a sealed container
3 Toast buns
Heat a large pan over a medium-high heat.
Add the sliderbuns and toast for 1-2 min until golden.
Remove the buns from the pan and set aside.
4 Serve
To assemble, add a layer of gratedcarrot to a sliderbun.
Top with the BBQ-pulledchicken.
If packing in a lunch box, keep the filling and buns separate and assemble just before eating.
Divide the BBQ PulledChicken Sliders, Grapes and Pretzels between lunch box containers or plates.
5 Serving suggestions
Kids 2-4 years: Serve 1/4 portion. Cut fruits and vegetables into bite-sized pieces.
Kids 5-8 years: Serve 1/2 portion.
Kids 9-13 years: Serve 3/4 portion.
Teens 14+ years: Serve a full portion.
