Before you start
Please wash your hands and rinse all fresh fruits and vegetables prior to cooking.
Instructions
1 Boil potatoes
Preheat the oven to 220°C/200°C fan.
Peel and chop the potatoes into bite-sized pieces.
Add the potatoes to a pot of salted water and bring to the boil.
Cook for 15-20 min until soft.
Drain the potatoes and return to the pot.
2 Mix sauce
Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine the barbecue sauce, smokedpaprika, and apple cider vinegar.
3 Roast
Place the brisket into a baking dish and cover with the sauce.
Roast for 15-20 min until hot and sticky.
4 Make mash
Meanwhile, finely chop the chives.
Mash the potatoes until smooth and stir through the gratedcheddar until smooth.
Gradually add the milk until it reaches your desired consistency.
Mix in the chives, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
5 Fry green beans
Meanwhile, trim the greenbeans.
Heat a pan over a medium high heat and melt the garlicbutter.
Add the greenbeans and cook for 2-3 min.
Add a splash of water, cover and steam cook for 1-2 min until softened.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6 Serve
Serve the BBQ SmokedBeefBrisket with Cheddar Mashed Potatoes and GarlicGreen Beans to the side.
