Please wash your hands and rinse all fresh fruits and vegetables prior to cooking.

Instructions

Prep

1 Prep

  • Preheat air fryer to 180°C.
  • Line the air fryer basket with baking paper.
  • Slice the bagel in half.
  • Spread the green pesto on the bottom half of each bagel.
Tip! If using the oven, preheat to 200°C/180°C fan and bake for the same time.
Add turkey

2 Add turkey

  • Evenly share the turkey slices between each bagel, placing them on top of the pesto layer.
Add cheese

3 Add cheese

  • Place a slice of mild cheddar cheese on top of the turkey.
Add egg

4 Add egg

  • Using a small knife, cut the hole in each top bagel half slightly wider.
  • Discard the inner.
Air fry

5 Air fry

  • Place 1 top and 1 bottom half of each bagel into the air fryer basket.
  • Crack an egg into the widened hole in the top bagel half.
  • Season the egg with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  • Cook for 8-10 min until the cheese is melted and browning and the egg is done to your liking.
Tip! 8 min is a jammy egg yolk while 10 min is closer to a hard yolk.
Serve

6 Serve

  • Remove each bagel half from the air fryer.
  • Repeat with the other bagel.
  • Place the egg bagel half on top of the cheese layer.
  • Serve the Breakfast Bagel warm.
