Before you start
Please wash your hands and rinse all fresh fruits and vegetables prior to cooking.
Instructions
1 Prep
Peel and finely chop the redonion.
Peel and mince the garlic.
Chop the chicken into bite-sized pieces.
2 Fry chicken
Heat a large pan over a medium-high heat with a drizzle of oil.
Once hot, add the chicken with a pinch of salt.
Fry for 5-7 min or until cooked through.
Once cooked through, transfer the chicken to a plate.
Wipe and reserve the pan.
Tip!To check if the chicken is cooked, insert a knife into the meat - if the juices run clear, it's ready.
3 Fry
Return the reserved pan to a medium-high heat with another drizzle of oil.
Once hot, fry the onion and garlic with a pinch of salt for 5 min.
4 Simmer
Add the orzo, chickenstockcube and measuredwater to the pan. Bring to a simmer.
Reduce the heat to medium.
Simmer, stirring occasionally, for 10 min or until the water is absorbed and the orzo is tender.
5 Add Parmesan
Meanwhile, pick and finely chop the parsley leaves.
After 10 min, add the babyspinach, half of the gratedParmesan and half of the parsley (reserve the rest for garnish) to the orzotto.
Simmer for 1 min further or until the spinach wilts.
Remove the pan from the heat.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6 Serve
Serve the Chicken on Baby SpinachOrzotto drizzled with Truffle Oil.
Garnish with the remaining parsley and grated Parmesan.
Tip!Add the truffle oil according to your own taste and preference.
