Please wash your hands and rinse all fresh fruits and vegetables prior to cooking.

Instructions

Boil pasta

1 Boil pasta

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to the boil.
  • Add the rigatoni. Cook for 11-13 min until 'al dente' or cooked to your liking.
  • Drain and reserve the pot for step 6.
Prep

2 Prep

  • Peel and finely chop the garlic.
  • Pick and finely chop the parsley.
  • Chop the chicken into bite-sized pieces.
Fry chicken

3 Fry chicken

  • Heat a frying pan over a medium-high heat with a drizzle of oil.
  • Fry the chicken with the chicken seasoning and oregano for 5 min.
  • Add the garlic and cook for 1-2 min further.
Make sauce

4 Make sauce

  • Preheat the grill to medium-high.
  • Add the butter and flour to the chicken.
  • Mix and cook for 1 min.
  • Add the measured water, cream, garlic onion powder and 0.5 stock cube, mixing and cooking for 2-3 min until thickened.
  • Mix through the cheddar cheese and adjust seasoning to taste.
Grill

  • In a bowl, combine the parsley, panko and parmesan.
  • Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and mix to coat.
  • Transfer the pasta mix to a baking dish, top with the crumb and a small drizzle of oil.
  • Grill for 3-5 min until the crumb is golden and crispy.
Tip! Don't have a grill? Just bake in the oven for 6-8 min at 180°C until the crumb is golden and crispy.
Serve

6 Serve

  • Meanwhile, trim the broccoli florets discarding the woody ends.
  • Fill the reserved pot with water and bring to a boil.
  • Add the broccoli and boil for 3-5 min until tender.
  • Drain.
  • Serve the Chicken Kiev Pasta Bake with Broccoli.
