Before you start
Please wash your hands and rinse all fresh fruits and vegetables prior to cooking.
Instructions
1 Boil pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to the boil.
Add the rigatoni. Cook for 11-13 min until 'al dente' or cooked to your liking.
Drain and reserve the pot for step 6.
2 Prep
Peel and finely chop the garlic.
Pick and finely chop the parsley.
Chop the chicken into bite-sized pieces.
3 Fry chicken
Heat a frying pan over a medium-high heat with a drizzle of oil.
Fry the chicken with the chickenseasoning and oregano for 5 min.
Add the garlic and cook for 1-2 min further.
4 Make sauce
Preheat the grill to medium-high.
Add the butter and flour to the chicken.
Mix and cook for 1 min.
Add the measuredwater, cream, garliconionpowder and 0.5 stockcube, mixing and cooking for 2-3 min until thickened.
Mix through the cheddarcheese and adjust seasoning to taste.
5 Grill
In a bowl, combine the parsley, panko and parmesan.
Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and mix to coat.
Transfer the pastamix to a baking dish, top with the crumb and a small drizzle of oil.
Grill for 3-5 min until the crumb is golden and crispy.
Tip!Don't have a grill? Just bake in the oven for 6-8 min at 180°C until the crumb is golden and crispy.
6 Serve
Meanwhile, trim the broccoliflorets discarding the woody ends.
Fill the reserved pot with water and bring to a boil.
Add the broccoli and boil for 3-5 min until tender.
Drain.
