Before you start
Please wash your hands and rinse all fresh fruits and vegetables prior to cooking.
Instructions
1 Prep
Preheat the oven to 200°C/180°C fan.
Finely chop the broccoli into smaller pieces, with some of the tender stems.
2 Cook sauce
Heat a pot over medium-high heat, and melt the butter with a drizzle of oliveoil.
Add the broccoli and cook for 2-3 min until softened.
Add the garlicpowder and flour and cook for 1 min until a sandy paste has formed.
Add the cookingcream, measured water, vegetableseasoning, nutmeg, and a pinch of pepper.
Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 min until the sauce thickens.
3 Blend sauce
Remove the sauce from the heat and stir in the pesto and half the grated parmesan, reserving the rest for topping.
Transfer the sauce to a blender (or use a handheld immersion blender), and carefully blend until smooth.
This is your broccoli cheese sauce.
4 Layer
Spread some broccoli cheese sauce over the bottom of an oven-proof baking dish.
Add half of the lasagnasheets.
Then top with half of the pulledchicken.
And pour half of the broccoli cheese sauce.
Repeat the layering with Lasagnasheets, pulledchicken, and broccoli cheese sauce.
Top the final layer with gratedcheddar, pankobreadcrumbs, and remaining grated parmesan.
Tip!You may need to layer the sauce and lasagna sheets differently depending on the size of your dish.
5 Bake
Bake the lasagna for 30-35 min until bubbling at the edges, the pasta is cooked, and the topping is golden and crispy.
Tip!Check the doneness of the pasta by inserting a knife in the middle, it should pierce easily.
6 Serve
Rest the Creamy Pulled ChickenLasagna for 5-10 min until slightly cooled, then slice and serve.
