Before you start
Please wash your hands and rinse all fresh fruits and vegetables prior to cooking.
Instructions
1 Fry chicken
Heat a large frying pan over a medium-high heat with a drizzle of oil.
Fry the chicken for 6-8 min until cooked through.
Tip!Alternatively air fry the chicken at 180°C for 7-10 min.
2 Fry rice
Meanwhile, drain the sweetcorn.
Heat another frying pan over a medium-high heat with a drizzle of oil.
Fry the sweetcorn for 2 min until slightly charred.
Using your hands, squeeze the rice in the packet to separate the grains.
Add the rice and smokedpaprika with a pinch of salt and pepper.
Fry for a further 2-3 min, until warmed through.
3 Add sauce
Add the paprika, garliconionpowder and barbecuesauce to the chicken.
Add a splash of water to the pan.
Mix well and cook for 1-2 min until the sauce has warmed.
4 Mix slaw
Meanwhile, cut the lime into wedges.
In a bowl combine the cabbage and carrot with the mayonnaise.
Squeeze over the limejuice and season with salt and pepper to taste.
5 Serve
Serve the BBQChickenRicebowl with a squeeze of fresh limejuice.
