Before you start
Please wash your hands and rinse all fresh fruits and vegetables prior to cooking.
Instructions
1 Fry gnocchi
Heat a pan on med-high heat with a drizzle of oil.
Fry the gnocchi on one side for 2-3 min until browned and toasted.
Toss and fry for another 2 min.
Remove the gnocchi on a plate and set aside.
Reserve the pan.
2 Fry beef
Return the pan to high heat.
Fry the beef for 5 mins until browned.
Mix in the onion, garlic paste, BBQspice, a pinch of salt and pepper.
Cook for 2 mins until the onions are softened, continuously stirring.
3 Add gnocchi
Add the tomato paste and cook for 1 min.
Add the measured water and gnocchi, and bring to a boil.
Cover, reduce the heat to medium-low, simmer for 3-4 mins.
4 Add cheese
Once the gnocchi is tender and the liquid has mostly absorbed, sprinkle over the cheddar.
Heat through for 1 min to melt the cheese.
5 Serve
Roughly chop the pickleslices.
Plate up the Cheeseburger Gnocchi.
Top with the crispy onions and pickles.
Spoon over some mustard.
