Please wash your hands and rinse all fresh fruits and vegetables prior to cooking.

Instructions

Marinate chicken

1 Marinate chicken

  • In a bowl combine the chicken with the garam masala, tandoori masala, ginger garlic paste, half the turmeric (saving the rest for step 4) and a drizzle of oil.
Fry chicken

2 Fry chicken

  • Heat a large frying pan over a medium-high heat with a drizzle of oil.
  • Fry the chicken for 6-8 min until cooked through.
  • Remove the chicken from the pan.
  • Wipe and reserve the pan.
Tip! Alternatively air fry the chicken at 180°C for 7-10 min.
Mix slaw

3 Mix slaw

  • Meanwhile, cut the lime into wedges.
  • To a bowl, add the carrot and cabbage.
  • Pick in the coriander leaves.
  • Squeeze over the lime juice and season with salt to taste.
Fry rice

4 Fry rice

  • Return the frying pan to the heat with another drizzle of oil.
  • Using your hands, squeeze the rice in the packet to separate the grains.
  • Fry the rice and peas with the remaining turmeric and a pinch of salt to taste for 2-3 min.
Serve

5 Serve

  • Slice the cucumber into rounds.
  • Serve the Chicken Tikka Rice Bowl with the Slaw, Cucumber and Natural yogurt on the side.
