Before you start

Please wash your hands and rinse all fresh fruits and vegetables prior to cooking.

Instructions

Fry mushrooms

1 Fry mushrooms

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to the boil.
  • Heat a frying pan over a medium-high heat with a drizzle of oil.
  • Add the mushrooms with a pinch of salt.
  • Fry for 6-7 min or until browned.
  • Add 1 Tsp flour.
  • Mix well and cook for 1 min further.
Make sauce

2 Make sauce

  • Add the cream, mushroom stock cube and measured water.
  • Simmer for 3-4 min until thickened.
  • Add the garlic onion powder and a pinch of salt and pepper to taste.
Cook pasta

3 Cook pasta

  • To the boiling water add the broccoli.
  • Boil for 2 min.
  • Add the tagliatelle to the water with the broccoli.
  • Cook for 2-3 min further until 'al dente' or cooked to your liking.
  • Drain and reserve a cup of pasta water.
Finish pasta

4 Finish pasta

  • Add the baby spinach, cooked pasta and half of the parmesan to the sauce.
  • Toss to mix and cook for 1 min until the spinach has wilted.
Tip! Add a splash of pasta water to loosen the sauce if desired.
Serve

5 Serve

  • Serve the Creamy Mushroom Tagliatelle Alfredo with Broccoli.
