Before you start
Please wash your hands and rinse all fresh fruits and vegetables prior to cooking.
Instructions
1 Fry mushrooms
Bring a large pot of salted water to the boil.
Heat a frying pan over a medium-high heat with a drizzle of oil.
Add the mushrooms with a pinch of salt.
Fry for 6-7 min or until browned.
Add 1 Tsp flour.
Mix well and cook for 1 min further.
2 Make sauce
Add the cream, mushroomstockcube and measuredwater.
Simmer for 3-4 min until thickened.
Add the garliconionpowder and a pinch of salt and pepper to taste.
3 Cook pasta
To the boiling water add the broccoli.
Boil for 2 min.
Add the tagliatelle to the water with the broccoli.
Cook for 2-3 min further until 'al dente' or cooked to your liking.
Drain and reserve a cup of pastawater.
4 Finish pasta
Add the babyspinach, cooked pasta and half of the parmesan to the sauce.
Toss to mix and cook for 1 min until the spinach has wilted.
Tip!Add a splash of pasta water to loosen the sauce if desired.
5 Serve
Serve the Creamy MushroomTagliatelle Alfredo with Broccoli.
