Before you start

Please wash your hands and rinse all fresh fruits and vegetables prior to cooking.

Instructions

Drain tuna

1 Drain tuna

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  • Drain the tuna.
Saute peas

2 Saute peas

  • Heat a large frying pan over a medium-high heat with a drizzle of oil.
  • Fry the peas for 2-3 min.
  • Add the paprika, garlic onion powder and vegetable seasoning.
  • Mix and cook for 30 sec.
Boil pasta

3 Boil pasta

  • Meanwhile, boil the tagliatelle for 2 min.
  • Drain and reserve a cup of pasta water.
Make sauce

4 Make sauce

  • Add the cream and tuna to the peas.
  • Add a generous splash of pasta water gradually until you reach your desired consistency.
  • Mix well and bring to a simmer.
  • Cook for 1-2 min until slightly thickened.
  • Adjust seasoning to taste.
Add pasta

5 Add pasta

  • Add the cooked tagliatelle and half of the cheddar (saving the rest for topping)
  • Toss to coat in the sauce.
Serve

6 Serve

  • Serve the Creamy Tuna Tagliatelle topped with the remaining cheddar cheese.
