Before you start
Please wash your hands and rinse all fresh fruits and vegetables prior to cooking.
Instructions
1 Marinate halloumi
Cut the halloumi into slices.
In a bowl, combine the garliconionpowder, paprika, thyme, sumac with a drizzle of olive oil.
Coat the halloumi in the marinade.
2 Fry halloumi
Heat a large frying pan over a medium-high heat with a drizzle of oil.
Fry the halloumi for 1-2 min on each side, or until golden.
Once cooked remove the halloumi and retain the pan.
3 Prep
Meanwhile, chop the cucumber into small bite-sized pieces
Chop the cherrytomatoes in half.
4 Heat rice
Using your hands squeeze the rice in the packet, to break up the grains as they may become stuck to one another
Return the pan to the heat with a small drizzle of oil.
Cook the rice for 2-3 min,
Pick in the dill and mix.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
5 Serve
Serve the Greek Halloumi Gyros BowlwithDillRiceandOlives.
Drizzle over the Herb Dressing.
