Please wash your hands and rinse all fresh fruits and vegetables prior to cooking.

Instructions

Fry steak strips

1 Fry steak strips

  • Heat a large frying pan over a medum-high heat with a drizzle oil.
  • Fry the steak strips with a pinch of salt for 3-4 min until cooked to your liking.
  • Transfer to a plate, wipe and retain the pan.
Fry veg

2 Fry veg

  • Return the pan to the heat with another drizzle of oil.
  • Fry the onions, carrots and beans with a pinch of salt for 2-3 min until softened.
Add spices

3 Add spices

  • Add the turmeric, garam masala, coriander cumin, ginger garlic paste, vegetable seasoning and cardamom pods to the veg.
  • Mix and cook for 1 min until fragrant.
Add rice

4 Add rice

  • Using your hands squeeze the rice in the packet to separate the grains.
  • Add the rice to the pan.
  • Stir fry for 3-4 min, until the rice is warmed through and everything is well mixed.
Mix yogurt

5 Mix yogurt

  • Meanwhile, pick and finely chop the coriander.
  • Zest the lemon and cut it into wedges.
  • In a small bowl, combine the yogurt, lemon zest, a squeeze of lemon juice and a pinch of pepper.
Serve

6 Serve

  • Serve the Middle Eastern Steak Strip Pilaf and Lemon Coriander Yogurt.
