Before you start
Please wash your hands and rinse all fresh fruits and vegetables prior to cooking.
Instructions
1 Fry steak strips
Heat a large frying pan over a medum-high heat with a drizzle oil.
Fry the steakstrips with a pinch of salt for 3-4 min until cooked to your liking.
Transfer to a plate, wipe and retain the pan.
2 Fry veg
Return the pan to the heat with another drizzle of oil.
Fry the onions, carrots and beans with a pinch of salt for 2-3 min until softened.
3 Add spices
Add the turmeric, garammasala, coriandercumin, gingergarlicpaste, vegetableseasoning and cardamompods to the veg.
Mix and cook for 1 min until fragrant.
4 Add rice
Using your hands squeeze the rice in the packet to separate the grains.
Add the rice to the pan.
Stir fry for 3-4 min, until the rice is warmed through and everything is well mixed.
5 Mix yogurt
Meanwhile, pick and finely chop the coriander.
Zest the lemon and cut it into wedges.
In a small bowl, combine the yogurt, lemon zest, a squeeze of lemonjuice and a pinch of pepper.
6 Serve
