Instructions

Make glaze

1 Make glaze

  • In a small bowl, combine the teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar and sesame seeds.
Fry prawns

2 Fry prawns

  • Heat a large frying pan over a medium-high heat with a drizzle of oil.
  • Fry the prawns for 3-5 min until cooked through.
Fry rice

3 Fry rice

  • Meanwhile, heat another large frying pan over a medium-high heat.
  • Fry the rice for 2-3 min.
  • Season the rice with the spring onions and dark soy sauce to taste.
  • Fry for a further 1 min.
Glaze prawns

4 Glaze prawns

  • Reduce the heat on the prawns and pour over the glaze.
  • Toss to coat and cook for 1-2 min until sticky.
Mix slaw

5 Mix slaw

  • Meanwhile, cut the lime in half.
  • In a bowl, combine the slaw mix with the sesame dressing, lime juice, and black sesame seeds.
Serve

6 Serve

  • Serve the Prawn Teriyaki with the Sesame Slaw and Spring Onion Rice.
