Before you start
Please wash your hands and rinse all fresh fruits and vegetables prior to cooking.
Instructions
1 Fry
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
Heat a large pan over a medium-high heat with a drizzle of oil.
Fry the onion and carrot for 3-5 min with a pinch of salt until softened.
2 Make sauce
Add the tomatopaste, passata, 0.5 stockcube, oregano and garlicpowder.
Mix and cook for 1 min.
3 Add beef
Add the beef and measuredwater and bring to a simmer.
Simmer for 3-5 min, until the sauce has reduced and thickened slightly.
Season with a pinch of salt and pepper to taste.
4 Boil pasta
Boil the pappardelle for 2 min until tender.
Drain.
5 Add pasta
Add the pappardelle to the ragu and toss to mix.
Tip!Add a splash of the pasta water to loosen if needed.
6 Serve
Serve the BeefRaguPappardelle topped with the gratedparmesan and basilleaves.
