Before you start
Please wash your hands and rinse all fresh fruits and vegetables prior to cooking.
Instructions
1 Fry
Heat a large pan over a medium-high heat with a drizzle of oil.
Fry the onion and carrot for 3-5 min with a pinch of salt until softened.
2 Make sauce
Add the tomatopaste, passata, 0.5 stockcube, oregano and garlicpowder.
Mix and cook for 1 min.
3 Add beef
Add the beef and measuredwater and bring to a simmer.
Simmer for 3-5 min, until the sauce has reduced and thickened slightly.
4 Fry gnocchi
Meanwhile, heat a separate large frying pan over a medium-high heat with the butter and a small drizzle of oil.
Add the gnocchi and fry for 5-6 min until golden and slightly crispy
Tip!Want to make it even easier? Just add the gnocchi straight to the sauce and cook for 3-4 min.
5 Add gnocchi
Add the gnocchi to the ragu and toss to mix.
6 Serve
Serve the Quick BeefRaguGnocchi topped with the gratedparmesan and basilleaves.
