Please wash your hands and rinse all fresh fruits and vegetables prior to cooking.

Instructions

Fry steak

1 Fry steak

  • Heat a large frying pan over a medium-high heat with a drizzle of oil.
  • Fry the steak strips with a pinch of salt and pepper for 4-5 min until cooked to your liking.
  • Remove from the pan.
  • Wipe and reserve the pan.
Fry eggs

2 Fry eggs

  • Return the pan to the heat with another drizzle of oil.
  • Crack in the eggs and scramble for 1-2 min.
  • Remove from the pan.
  • Wipe and reserve the pan.
Fry veg

3 Fry veg

  • Return the pan to the heat with another drizzle of oil.
  • Fry the beans, peppers and carrots for 3-4 min until tender and slightly charred.
Add rice

4 Add rice

  • Meanwhile, using your hands squeeze the rice in the packet to separate the grains.
  • Add the the rice to the pan and stir-fry for 2 min.
Season

5 Season

  • Add the chinese 5 spice, oyster sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar and sesame oil.
  • Mix well and add back the steak strips and scrambled eggs.
  • Stir-fry for a further 2 min until mixed and fragrant.
Serve

6 Serve

  • Serve the Steak Strip Egg Fried Rice topped with the chopped spring onions.
