Instructions
1 Mix dry ingredients
In a large bowl, sieve the flour, bakingpowder and a pinch of salt.
Add the sugar and use a whisk to combine the dry ingredients.
Set aside.
Tip!Sieving the flour is optional but makes mixing easier and adds air, resulting in lighter, fluffier pancakes.
2 Melt butter
Add the butter to a large microwavable bowl or jug.
Heat the butter in the microwave in 20 sec bursts until melted.
3 Mix wet ingredients
To the jug with the meltedbutter, add the milk, eggs and vanillaessence.
Whisk until well combined.
4 Make batter
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients.
Whisk to combine to form a thick batter.
5 Fry pancakes
Heat a large non-stick pan over medium heat with a drizzle of oil.
Use a 1/4 cup measuring cup or big spoon to add the batter to the pan.
Cook for 1-2 min until bubbles start to form on the surface.
Add a few choc chips and flip the pancake.
Cook for another 1-2 min until golden brown and fluffy.
Reduce the heat if the pancakes are browning too quickly.
6 Serve
Serve the Fluffy Choc Chip Pancakes drizzled with Nutella.
Trim the strawberries and cut in half and add alongside the pancakes.
Tip!Heat the Nutella gently in the microwave to help it become more fluid.
