Before you start
Please wash your hands and rinse all fresh fruits and vegetables prior to cooking.
Instructions
1 Mix ingredients
Preheat oven to 180°C/160°C fan.
Roughly chop the nuts (optional).
Combine all the nuts, seeds and cinnamon on a large baking tray with a pinch of salt.
The coconutflakes will toast quicker than the other ingredients so feel free to add them in the last 5-6 min of baking.
Tip!Add your favourite nuts and seeds or any dried fruit as preferred.
2 Bake
Add 2-3 Tbsp of vegetableoil, vanillaessence and half of the maple syrup (reserving the rest of after baking) to the baking tray.
Toss to coat the nuts and seeds well.
Place in the oven for 10-12 min until toasted, mixing half way through.
Once baked, remove from the oven and pour over the reserved maplesyrup.
Toss to mix through.
Tip!For complete low carb, replace the maple syrup with your favourite non-nutritive sweetener.
3 Serve
Serve the Grain-Free Breakfast Granola with your favourite milk or yogurt, adding fruit as preferred.
