Instructions

Mix seasoning

1 Mix seasoning

  • Preheat the air fryer to 190°C.
  • In a small bowl, mix the sesame seeds, black sesame seeds, crispy onions and a pinch of flaky salt and black pepper, to taste.
  • Mix well.
  • Set aside.
Tip! The Everything Bagel Seasoning is a popular savoury, crunchy spice blend originating from the topping used on the "Everything Bagel" variety. This mix excludes a few of the original ingredients and therefore referred to as "Almost Everything".
Toast the bagels

2 Toast the bagels

  • Slice each bagel in half.
  • Air fry the bagel halves for 3-4 min or until crispy and starting to brown.
Tip! If you do not have an air fryer, heat the bagels in a toaster, dry pan or a warm oven (200°C/180°C fan) for a few minutes until crispy and golden brown.
Mix the cottage cheese

3 Mix the cottage cheese

  • Meanwhile, finely chop a handful of dill.
  • In a medium sized bowl, combine the cottage cheese, vegetable seasoning and chopped dill.
  • Mix well.
Tip! For a creamy texture, use a stick blender or food processor to blitz the cottage cheese together with 50ml water until smooth and creamy.
Prep toppings

4 Prep toppings

  • Cut the avocado in half and remove the stone.
  • Scoop the avocado out of its skin using a spoon, then slice it.
  • Slice the tomato.
Serve

5 Serve

  • Evenly divide the cottage cheese between each bagel half.
  • Top with the sliced avocado and sliced tomato, as preferred.
  • Serve the High Protein Breakfast Bagel with a sprinkle of the Almost-Everything-Bagel-Seasoning over the top.
