Before you start
Please wash your hands and rinse all fresh fruits and vegetables prior to cooking.
Instructions
1 Boil pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to the boil.
Cook the pasta for 6-7 min until tender.
Drain and reserve the pan.
Tip!The pasta can be made in advance for the week or fresh on the day.
2 Mix mac and cheese
Return the reserved pot to a medium heat.
Add the cheesesauce, cooked pasta and greenpeas.
Mix in half of the orangecheddar (saving the rest for topping) and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Heat for 2-3 min until warmed through and the cheese has melted.
3 Serve
Chop the cucumber into batons.
Divide the pasta and sides between lunch box containers or plates.
Sprinkle the remaining cheddar over the Mac and Cheese
If serving over multiple days keep the pasta in an air-tight container in the fridge for up to 2 days until serving.
4 Serving Guidelines
Kids 2-4 years: Serve 1/4 portion. Cut fruits and vegetables into bite-sized pieces.
Kids 5-8 years: Serve 1/2 portion.
Kids 9-13 years: Serve 3/4 portion.
Teens 14+ years: Serve a full portion.
