Before you start
Please wash your hands and rinse all fresh fruits and vegetables prior to cooking.
Instructions
1 Prep
Trim the broccoli florets and cut into bite-sized pieces.
Peel and finely chop the onion.
Peel and finely chop the garlic.
Roughly chop the sundriedtomatoes.
Pick the basilleaves.
2 Prep salmon
Pat the salmon dry with paper towel.
Slice the salmon into portions.
Season the salmon with the driedthyme, salt and pepper.
3 Boil pasta
Meanwhile, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
Add the linguine.
Cook for 12-15 min or until cooked to your liking.
During the last 5 min, add the broccoli.
Cook until blanched.
Drain and set aside.
4 Make sauce
Grate the parmesan and set aside.
Heat a frying pan to medium heat with a drizzle of olive oil.
Fry the onion and garlic for 4-5 min until softened.
Add the tomatopaste, and sundriedtomato. Fry for 1 min.
Add the measured water, vegetableseasoning, and whisk in 100ml of the cream, and half the parmesan.
Gently cook for 3-4 min until the sauce is thickened.
Tear in some of the basilleaves.
5 Fry salmon
Meanwhile, heat another large pan over a medium-high heat with a generous drizzle of olive oil.
Fry the salmon for 3-4 min skin-side down.
Flip and fry for a further 1-2 min until cooked through.
Set aside on a plate.
6 Serve
Serve the "Marry Me" Salmon in Sundried Tomato Sauce with Linguine and Broccoli.
Pour that delicious creamsauce over each serving.
Serve with any extra parmesan on the side.
