Before you start
Please wash your hands and rinse all fresh fruits and vegetables prior to cooking.
Instructions
1 Prep
Preheat the oven to 200°C/180°C fan.
Separate the broccoli into florets and chop them into bite-sized pieces.
Chop the potatoes into bite-sized pieces.
Finely chop the chives.
2 Bake potatoes
Place the potatoes onto a baking tray with a drizzle of oil, the dried thyme and a generous pinch of salt.
Bake for 20 min.
Tip!Use a parchment or baking paper for easy cleanup! If cooking for kids, leave some of the potato plain, seasoned with only salt and pepper.
3 Prep
Meanwhile, in a large bowl, mix together the garliconionpowder, flakyseasalt, blackpepper and the sesameseeds with a drizzle of oil.
Add the chicken and toss until evenly coated.
Tip!If cooking for kids, make some chicken plain, seasoned only with salt and pepper.
4 Make dip
In a separate small bowl mix together the sourcream, mayonnaise and chives with a pinch of salt and blackpepper.
Tip!If cooking for kids, leave the chives out!
5 Bake
After the potatoes have been baked for 20 mins, add the broccoli and place the chicken onto the baking tray with a drizzle of oil.
Bake for 12-15 min or until the chicken is cooked through.
Tip!To check if the chicken is cooked, insert a knife into the meat - if the juices run clear, it's ready.
6 Serve
Serve the One-tray Sesame Roasted Chicken with Roasted Potatoes, Broccoliand Chive Dip.
Tip!If cooking for kids, slice and serve the plain chicken, with the separated veggies and plain dip on the side.
