Before you start

Please wash your hands and rinse all fresh fruits and vegetables prior to cooking.

Instructions

Prep

1 Prep

  • If using an oven, preheat to 220°C/200°C fan.
  • If using an air fryer, preheat to 200°C.
  • In a large bowl, add the chicken wings with a drizzle of olive oil and the peri peri seasoning(spicy!).
  • Toss to coat.
Tip! Have spare time? Marinate the chicken wings 12-24 hours before cooking.
If using an oven

  • Place the chicken wings onto a lined baking tray.
  • Roast for 15-20 min or until the chicken wings are golden-brown.
Tip! Having a barbecue? Place the chicken wings over an indirect heat and grill for 10-15 min, turning occasionally.
If using an air fryer

3 If using an air fryer

  • Place the chicken wings in a lined air fryer basket.
  • Air fry for 12-15 min or until the chicken wings are golden-brown and sticky.
Tip! Be careful not to overcrowd your air fryer basket - air fry them in batches instead.
Make dip

4 Make dip

  • Zest the lime and cut into wedges.
  • In a small bowl, combine the sour cream, lime zest and a squeeze of lime juice, salt and pepper to taste.
Serve

5 Serve

  • Pick and finely chop the parsley.
  • Plate up, and serve the Peri Peri Wings, with Dip on the side and garnish with the chopped parsley.
