Instructions
1 Cook rice
Rinse the sushi rice in a sieve under cold water until the water runs clear.
Add the sushi rice, a pinch of salt and the measured water to a pot with a lid. Bring to a boil over a high heat.
Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and cover.
Cook for 15 min or until the water is absorbed and the rice is cooked.
Once cooked, remove the pot from the heat.
Once the rice has cooled, fold in the rice vinegar.
2 Marinate salmon
Meanwhile, trim and chop the springonion.
In a bowl, combine the salmon, soysauce, sweetsoysauce, and half the springonions (reserving the rest for garnish).
3 Fry
Heat a pan over medium heat.
Fry the marinated salmoncubes for 3-4 min or until cooked through, flipping occasionally to avoid blackening too much.
Sprinkle over the sesameseeds.
Tip!Avoid moving the salmon pieces frequently to prevent them from breaking apart.
4 Make sauce
Meanwhile, in a bowl, mix the creamcheese and srirachasauce.
5 Prep
Deseed the avocado and chop into cubes.
Finely slice the cucumbers.
6 Serve
Serve the SalmonSushi and Avocado Bowl with Nori Sheets and SrirachaCream Cheese. Garnish with springonions.
Or, enjoy as hand rolls by adding some rice, salmon, and avocado to a Norisheets, with a drizzle of srirachacreamcheese.
Enjoy with sushiginger on the side.
