Instructions
1 Prep
Preheat the oven to 220°C/200°C fan. Deseed the peppers and cut into triangles for a Jack 'o' lantern nose and eyes. Using the pepper, cut a mouth shape for the jack 'o'lantern. Cut the remaining pepper into strips, these can be used for extra details. Cut the greenolives and blackoliveslices in half, these can be used for spiders or other creepy crawlies. Using a vegetable peeler, create ribbons from the zucchini. The ribbons can be used as bandages for a spooky mummy.
2 Make pizza sauce
Meanwhile, in a bowl or jug, dissolve the 0.5 vegetablestockcube in 3 Tbsp of hot water. Add to it the tomatopaste, tomatopassata, a drizzle of olive oil, dried oregano, driedbasil, garliconionpowder and brown sugar. Mix well. This is your pizzasauce.
3 Roll pizza dough
Sprinkle half of the semolina onto a clean surface. Sprinkle some flour onto a rolling pin and roll out the doughball. Cover with a layer of baking paper (to prevent it from drying), and allow the dough to rest for 3 min. After 3 min, continue to roll out the dough until roughly the size of a dinner plate. Repeat until you have all the doughballs rolled and ready to bake.
Tip!You can also roll out the dough in a more rustic or rectangular shape to fit your baking trays.
4 Top pizza
Sprinkle the remaining semolina onto your baking trays, and carefully transfer the rolled out dough onto them. Reshape the dough with your hands if needed. Spoon the pizzasauce over the dough towards the edges. Sprinkle over the mozzarella Using the prepared toppings, create a spooky scene! Use the halved greenolives as spider bodies and the halved blackoliveslices as legs. Use the zucchini ribbons as bandages for a mummy, laying them over one another. Use the pepper and basil for the jack 'o' lantern.
5 Bake
Brush the crust with olive oil. Bake for 15-20 min or until the crust begins to crisp and brown.
6 Serve
Once cooked, slice the pizza and serve with any remaining toppings on the side to create an extra spooky dinner experience!
Tip!Any left over topping ingredients can be enjoyed on the side.
