Instructions
1 Coat wings
If using an oven, preheat to 220°C/200°C fan.
If using an air fryer, preheat to 180°C.
In large bowl, add the chickenwings with baking powder.
Toss well to coat the wings.
2 If using an oven
Place the chicken wings onto a lined baking tray.
Roast for 15-20 min or until the chickenwings are golden-brown and crispy.
Tip!Having a barbecue? Place the chicken wings over an indirect heat and grill for 10-15 min, turning occasionally.
3 If using an air fryer
Place the chicken wings in a lined air fryer basket.
Air fry for 12-15 min or until the chickenwings are golden-brown and crispy.
Tip!Be careful not to overcrowd your air fryer basket - air fry them in batches instead.
4 Make sauce
Meanwhile, peel and mince the garlic.
Make a cornstarch slurry by combining 0.5 tspcornstarch and 2 tspwater.
In a saucepan, combine the teriyakisauce, sesameoil, ricevinegar, gingerpaste, garlic, 0.5tamari and the cornstarchslurry.
Heat over medium-low for 2-3 min until the sauce starts to thicken.
Tip!Add a splash of water if the sauce becomes too thick.
5 Serve
Once the wings are cooked, pour over half of the teriyakisauce (reserve the rest for serving).
Toss well to glaze.
Add the glazedchicken wings back to the oven or air fryer for 3-5 min until crispy and sticky.
Serve the StickyChickenWings garnished with SesameSeeds and the TeriyakiDip to the side.
