Before you start
Please wash your hands and rinse all fresh fruits and vegetables prior to cooking.
Instructions
1 Coat drumsticks
If using an oven, preheat to 220°C/200°C fan.
If using an air fryer, preheat to 180°C.
In a large bowl, add the chickendrumsticks with the chickenseasoning and a drizzle of oil.
Toss well to coat.
2 If using an oven
Place the drumsticks onto a lined baking tray.
Roast for 18-20 min or until the drumsticks are golden-brown and crispy.
Tip!Having a barbecue? Place the chicken drumsticks over an indirect heat and grill for 10-15 min, turning occasionally.
3 If using an air fryer
Place the drumsticks in a lined air fryer basket.
Air fry for 12-15 min or until the drumsticks are golden-brown and crispy, turning halfway through.
4 Make dip
Zest the lime and cut in half.
Combine the sourcream, limezest and the juice of half a lime.
Reserve the other lime half for the basting.
Add a splash of water if you prefer a runnier dip.
5 Baste
In a small bowl combine the Gochujang(spicy!), brownsugar, sesameoil, gingergarlicpaste, sesameseeds and the juice of the remaining half lime.
Brush the glaze over the drumsticks to coat well.
Add the glazed drumsticks back to the oven or air fryer for 5-7 min until crispy and sticky.
Tip!Gochujang is a savoury, sweet and spicy Korean chilli paste.
6 Serve
