Before you start
Please wash your hands and rinse all fresh fruits and vegetables prior to cooking.
Instructions
1 Combine nuts
Preheat your oven to 170°C/150°C fan.
In a large bowl, combine the almonds, cashewnuts, whitesugar and cinnamonpowder.
2 Whisk egg white
In a small bowl, separate the eggwhite from the egg yolk.
Discard the egg yolk.
Add the vanillaessence to the eggwhite and lightly whisk with a whisk or fork until frothy.
3 Add egg white
Add the eggwhite to the nuts and mix to combine.
4 Bake
Spread the nut mixture in an even layer onto a lined baking tray.
Bake for 15-17 min until toasted and fragrant.
Remove from the oven and allow the nuts to cool completely on the baking sheet.
They will crisp up as they cool.
5 Serve
Enjoy these Sweet Cinnamon Roasted Nuts when the craving calls.
Once completely cooled, store in an airtight container in a cool place.
