Instructions

Coat drumsticks

1 Coat drumsticks

  • If using an oven, preheat to 220°C/200°C fan.
  • If using an air fryer, preheat to 180°C.
  • Cut the lemon into wedges.
  • In a large bowl, add the chicken drumsticks with a spoonful of yogurt (reserving the rest for the dip), tandoori masala, garam masala, ginger garlic paste and a squeeze of lemon juice (saving some for the dip).
  • Toss well to coat.
If using an oven

  • Place the drumsticks onto a lined baking tray.
  • Roast for 18-20 min or until the drumsticks are golden-brown and crispy.
Tip! Having a barbecue? Place the chicken drumsticks over an indirect heat and grill for 10-15 min, turning occasionally.
If using an air fryer

3 If using an air fryer

  • Place the drumsticks in a lined air fryer basket.
  • Air fry for 12-15 min or until the drumsticks are golden-brown and crispy, turning halfway through.
Make dip

4 Make dip

  • Pick and finely chop the mint.
  • In a small bowl, combine the remaining yogurt and mint with a squeeze of lemon juice.
Serve

5 Serve

  • Serve the Tandoori Chicken Drumsticks with the Mint Yogurt to the side.
