Instructions
1 Coat wings
If using an oven, preheat to 220°C/200°C fan.
If using an air fryer, preheat to 180°C.
In a large bowl, add the chicken wings with baking powder and a small pinch of salt.
Toss well to coat the wings.
2 If using an oven
Place the chicken wings onto a lined baking tray.
Roast for 15-20 min or until the chicken wings are golden-brown and crispy.
Tip!Having a barbecue? Place the chicken wings over an indirect heat and grill for 10-15 min, turning occasionally.
3 If using an air fryer
Place the chicken wings in a lined air fryer basket.
Air fry for 12-15 min or until the chicken wings are golden-brown and crispy.
Tip!Be careful not to overcrowd your air fryer basket - air fry them in batches instead.
4 Make sauce
Meanwhile, zest the lime and cut in half.
In a small bowl, combine sweetchillisauce, soysauce, limejuice and ginger powder, to taste.
Reserve the limezest for serving.
Tip!Sensitive to spice? Go easy on the ginger powder and add only a pinch to taste.
5 Serve
Glaze the wings and add them back to the oven or air fryer for 3-5 min until sticky and caramelised.
Serve the StickyThai SweetChilliChicken Wings garnished with freshlimezest.
