Before you start
Please wash your hands and rinse all fresh fruits and vegetables prior to cooking.
Instructions
1 Prep
Preheat the oven to 200°C/180°C fan.
Peel and finely chop the onion.
Peel and mince the garlic.
Trim and roughly chop the spinach.
Discard the stems.
2 Fry
Heat a large pan over a medium heat with a drizzle of oliveoil.
Once hot, add the onion and spinach with a pinch of salt.
Fry for 4 min or until wilted.
Add the garlic and smokedpaprikapowder.
Fry for 30 sec.
3 Simmer sauce
Add the stockcube, cookingcream, honey and plumtomatoes.
Break down the tomatoes with a spatula.
Simmer for 5 min or until thickened.
Once thickened, season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
4 Pulled chicken
Add the pulledchicken.
Simmer for 3 min further or until warmed through.
5 Bake lasagna
Pour 1/3 of the chickensauce over the bottom of an oven-proof dish.
Top with half of the lasagnasheets.
Repeat.
Cover with the gratedcheddar and the grated Parmesan.
Bake for 20-25 or until the cheese is golden and bubbling.
Tip!You may need to layer the sauce and lasagna sheets differently depending on the size of your dish.
6 Serve
Meanwhile, pick the basil and chop the tomatoes in half.
Add the basil leaves and tomatoes to a bowl with a drizzle of oliveoil.
Toss.
Allow the lasagna to cool for 5 min before serving.
