Instructions

Bake fries

1 Bake fries

Preheat the oven to 200°C/180°C fan. Slice the potatoes (skins on) into fries. Add the fries to a large baking tray with a drizzle of vegetable oil and a generous pinch of salt. Toss the fries in the oil until fully coated. Roast in the oven for 30 min or until golden and crisp.
Prep mayo and lettuce

2 Prep mayo and lettuce

Meanwhile, mix the mayonnaise with the kimchi. Wash the baby gem lettuce and separate the leaves. Slice the burger buns in half.
Prep chicken

3 Prep chicken

Slice each chicken breast in half as if you were opening a burger bun, so you are left with two thinner chicken breast escalopes.
Fry chicken

4 Fry chicken

Heat a pan over a medium-high heat with a drizzle of vegetable oil. Once hot, add the chicken with a pinch of salt and cook for 5 min on either side until cooked through. Once cooked, add the soy sauce to the pan and top the chicken with the burger cheese, cover with a lid and cook for 1 min further until the cheese has melted.
Add seeds

5 Add seeds

Once the fries are cooked, remove the tray from the oven and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Return the tray to the oven for 2 min.
Serve

6 Serve

Pile the cheesy chicken escalopes, gem lettuce and kimchi mayonnaise into the burger buns. Serve the sesame fries to the side.
