Instructions
1 Bake fries
Preheat the oven to 200°C/180°C fan. Slice the potatoes (skins on) into fries. Add the fries to a large baking tray with a drizzle of vegetable oil and a generous pinch of salt. Toss the fries in the oil until fully coated. Roast in the oven for 30 min or until golden and crisp.
2 Prep mayo and lettuce
Meanwhile, mix the mayonnaise with the kimchi. Wash the baby gem lettuce and separate the leaves. Slice the burger buns in half.
3 Prep chicken
Slice each chicken breast in half as if you were opening a burger bun, so you are left with two thinner chicken breast escalopes.
4 Fry chicken
Heat a pan over a medium-high heat with a drizzle of vegetable oil. Once hot, add the chicken with a pinch of salt and cook for 5 min on either side until cooked through. Once cooked, add the soy sauce to the pan and top the chicken with the burger cheese, cover with a lid and cook for 1 min further until the cheese has melted.
5 Add seeds
Once the fries are cooked, remove the tray from the oven and sprinkle with sesameseeds. Return the tray to the oven for 2 min.
6 Serve
Pile the cheesy chicken escalopes, gemlettuce and kimchimayonnaise into the burgerbuns. Serve the sesamefries to the side.
