Instructions
1 Bake tomatoes
Preheat the oven to 220°C/200°C fan. Slice the tomatoes in half and place them, cut side up, in a baking dish. Drizzle with olive oil. Season with salt and a sprinkling of the dried oregano. Bake for 15-20 min.
2 Fry onions
Meanwhile, peel and slice the onions finely. Heat a drizzle of oil in a pan over a high heat. Fry the onions for 5 min until browned. Reduce the heat to low, add the brownsugar and balsamicvinegar. Cook for 10 min further or until the onions have fully softened.
3 Boil beans
Rinse and trim the green beans. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the beans for 5 min until tender. Drain.
4 Make patties
Meanwhile, in a bowl, mix the beefmince with the garlicpowder, Worcestershire, Dijonmustard and a pinch of salt and pepper. With clean hands, knead the mixture for 3-4 min until tender. Shape into patties. Slice the brie cheese thinly.
5 Fry patties
Heat a second drizzle of oil in a large pan over a medium high heat. Fry the patties for 3-4 min on each side. Flip and top each patty with a slice of brie. Fry for 3 min further.
Tip!Don't fancy frying? Bake the patties at 200°C in the oven for 15 minutes instead. Make sure they're cooked through before serving!
6 Serve
Divide the caramelisedonion among the patties. Serve the brie and onionpatties with the baked tomatoes and boiled green beans to the side.
