Pro tip

Don't overcrowd your pan! Otherwise you'll end up stewing, not frying your chicken.

Before you start

Please wash your hands and rinse all fresh fruits and vegetables prior to cooking.

Instructions

1 Prep

Chop the chicken into bite-sized pieces. Trim the green beans. In a bowl, toss the chicken in the corn starch with a generous pinch of salt

2 Make glaze

Meanwhile, finely chop the red chilli. In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, ginger pastechilli jamred chilli (spicy!) and garlic powder with the rice vinegar.

3 Fry chicken

Heat a large non-stick pan over a medium-high heat with a drizzle of oil. Once hot, add the chicken and fry for 5 min or until the chicken is cooked through.

4 Add glaze

Add the glaze and cook for 1 min or until the sauce begins to thicken up.

5 Fry veg

Heat a second large non-stick pan over a medium-high heat with a drizzle of oil. Once hot, add the green beans and fry for 3 min. Add the edamame and tamari and fry for 1 final min. Add the sesame oil and sesame seeds and toss.

6 Serve

Serve the ginger chilli chicken alongside the green beans and edamame.
