5 Sauté

Add the buttergarlic and spring onion to the salmon and sauté for 2-3 min (don't let the garlic turn brown!). Add the soy sauce and fish sauce. Remove the pan from the heat. Flake the salmon into large chunks.

6 Toss

Add the drained broccoli and noodles to the pan with a generous splash of the noodle cooking water. Carefully toss. Serve immediately.

Tips for fussy eaters

Go easy on the garlic and consider swapping the fish sauce for another drizzle of soy!

Pro tip

Want to speed up the garlic prep? Use a pestle and mortar, garlic press, micro plane or even a very small food processor!

This dish takes inspiration from a San Francisco classic- Garlic Noodles. The original allows the use of spaghetti instead of noodles and omits salmon and broccoli.
