Please wash your hands and rinse all fresh fruits and vegetables prior to cooking.

Instructions

Prep

Remove the steak from the fridge 30 minutes before cooking. Cut the broccoli into small florets, the carrot into thin slices and discard the ends of the green beans. Peel the onion and slice it thinly. Peel and grate the ginger. Peel and crush the garlic. Slice the chilli.
Mix

In a bowl mix the sauce: sugar, water and soy sauce.
Coat and season

Place the beef strips and corn flour in a bowl and toss well to coat. Season with salt and pepper.
Fry beef

4 Fry beef

Heat a large pan with a half of the sesame oil to high heat. Add the beef strips to the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes. Remove from the pan and keep aside.
Fry veggies

5 Fry veggies

Add the remaining oil on the pan and fry the onions, broccoli, carrots, green beans, garlic and ginger for 5-7 minutes.
Soak and serve

6 Soak and serve

Meanwhile boil water in a kettle and place the vermicelli noodles in a shallow bowl or oven dish. Pour the boiling water on top of noodles to cover them. Soak for 2 minutes and drain. Add the noodles and beef strips back on the pan. Add the sauce. Stir well and serve with freshly chopped red chilli.
